Brick Mosaic is a tool to create mosaics using only bricks you have.
1. Upload an image
Click Upload Image in the Original panel and choose an image you want to convert. Transparent images also work.
2. Choose a grid size
Use the Size dropdown to pick how many studs wide/tall your mosaic will be (32 to 96). Larger grids need more bricks but give more detail.
3. Fill in your brick inventory
The Brick Inventory panel shows how many of each brick you have. First of all you need to sort all your bricks by color and size. Then fill in the Inventory table below. For easier use, download the Excel Template, fill it in and upload it. This way you don't have to fill the inventory in each time.
4. Adjust image
Use the Hue / Saturation / Lightness sliders to shift the image colors. Click Transparent Mode if you want your Mosaic to be built on a baseplate. If you check this, it's best to choose a baseplate color that doesn't appear much in your image.
5. Export
Click Export as .pdf to save the mosaic. In this .pdf you get a preview image, table with bricks used and a grid that helps building.
